Pete has over 30 years of experience in public accounting, with an additional three years in taxation with the IRS and a tax software house. He was previously with a CPA firm outside of Boston for five years as a senior accountant, and was with a local Raleigh firm for two years before joining Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP in September 1994. He became a partner in June 1998.

Pete has worked with clients in many industries including medical, construction and real estate, wholesale and retail, legal, service industries, and others. Pete’s areas of concentration include tax planning and compliance, and business consulting.
