Candace has 28 years of experience, 14 in public accounting and 14 in private practice. She started her public accounting career at Deloitte as a tax associate. She was previously with Blackman & Sloop, CPAs. Candace joined Hughes Pittman & Gupton, LLP in August 2015.

Candace has worked with both public and nonpublic companies. Her primary focus is closely held businesses. Candace has experience with clients in the healthcare, professional services (attorneys/architects/property management), and restaurant industries. Her experience in these industries includes tax planning, consulting, transactional analysis and compliance.
