With over 40 years of CPA experience, Mark works with a variety of companies, in a wide range of industries, including healthcare, with particular emphasis on manufacturing and distribution companies which develop and distribute pharmaceuticals and medical devices.

Leadership – COO

Mark is a member of the HPG executive committee and is currently serving as COO. In this position, Mark has developed a deep understanding of the challenges facing business owners and is uniquely positioned to offer services to help business owners reach success.

Technical Expertise – Operations

Mark earned the prestigious designation of CPIM by the leading professional Association for Supply Chain and Operations Management (“APICS”). Through this certification, Mark has assisted clients in various industries by increasing their functional knowledge of production and inventory management, cost accounting, and business process improvement.

Technical Expertise – Employee Plans

Through his years of experience, Mark has attained an extensive background in audit and financial reporting of employee benefit plans. As such, Mark has served as HPG’s Designated Audit Partner on file with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center, or EBPAQC. He is knowledgeable in the unique requirements of employee benefit plan auditing, as well as IRS and U.S. Department of Labor rules and regulations related to qualified plans and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”). He is the HPG ERISA Audit co-team leader and is currently leading the ERISA Audit Services Strategic Growth initiative at HPG.

Mark has shared his expertise with other professionals by teaching professional continuing education courses, locally and regionally to various industry groups, as well as frequently presenting at national conferences for CPAmerica International, one of the largest associations of CPA firms in the U.S.
